While EvE has it’s Halloween event still going strong for a few more days, all of us are hanging out in other games. Since WoW is currently offering a Welcome Back Weekend, I convinced Vinny to log in and help me out with some quests.
He may or may not end up re-subbing for a bit just to run around and have some wholesome fun. The first thing we did is make some new elves on Rexxar that we’re running though the Legion content. It’s kind of strange running through legion content at level 12 but it’s also really, really fun.
I am so glad that they’ve made the changes they’ve made to the leveling process.
WoW is no longer a hundred plus level slog through decades of content. It’s 50 levels of pick your adventure and just have fun. So we did and we’re doing the stuff that we actually enjoyed. I have to admit, that outside of the Pathfinder grind, Legion the expansion was a lot of fun.
I am really, really hoping that Shadowlands has that Legion feel. For me the expansions where everyone has to focus on a common big bad always seem to be way more fun. I’ll even be happy if it’s more Wrath of the Lich King fun, which was pretty fun.
I am particularly hyped as it launches on my birthday!
The jury is out as to whether or not I finish leveling this character. As I am notorious for breaking out in Alts. I can say however that I’m feeling very comfortable on this one and if I succeed in completing the Underlight Angler with it, I’ll probably keep it.
Thanks for reading my ramblings and have fun out there!
